Three generations of family craftsmanship since 1948.

1948 — Jo-Vin's Story Begins

Jo-Vin workroom, 1948

Vincent Pappalardo opened a modest drapery workroom in Brooklyn, New York. From the beginning, the work was hands-on and personal — measuring, cutting, sewing, and installing — with the belief that a home's interior matters just as much as the architecture around it.

Vincent built the business on relationships, reputation, and an uncompromising attention to detail. Word spread quickly among designers and homeowners throughout the New York area, and what began as a small neighborhood workroom soon earned a name for quality that would last generations.

The sign above the door read V. Pappalardo — and everything it stood for has carried forward to this day.

1970s

Vincent's sons, Vincent and Leo, joined the business. As demand grew, the company expanded into its current Queens location — a roughly 15,000-square-foot facility serving designers, contractors, leading hotels, and homeowners throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Today

Leo and Michael Pappalardo continue the company's commitment to quality and expertise across a wide range of products and services, including custom window treatments, motorized drapery systems, upholstery, and bedding.
